Horses Available For Adoption

Rescue horses are not free horses. It takes alot of money to care for a horse, especially if it is not in the best of condition when it arrives at Cedar Oaks Equine Rescue. Adoption fees are 100% tax deductible. We require an inspection of where the horse will be kept, and also a vet and farrier check. Please seriously think about this life changing decision to adopt a horse. Horses are easy to adopt, but require total commitment and alot of dedication and work. Please email us with what you are looking for in a horse, and we will see if we have a match for you, or keep you on our adoption waiting list for when a match might come up. We do have a contract, and require that if you are no longer able to care for your adopted horse, that you notify Cedar Oaks Equine Rescue, and we will take back the horse. Remember, being a horse owner is a life long commitment, not just throwing on a saddle and going for a ride. There is alot of work to be done before you get on a horse! Contact us to schedule a time to see available horses, as we are located on private property.

Adoption Fees Range From $250 and up depending on how much time, vet care, and rehabilitation is required. Please do not expect our horses to be free, no horse is free.
